Get a Job on A Cruise Ship and See the World

There is nothing more fun than seeing the world and getting paid to do it, and if you are lucky enough to get a job on a cruise ship, you will do both.

You'll be able to go to exotic locations just like anyone else on the cruise (many companies will even allow some of their workers to explore the port area once they have docked), but your accomodations and meals are covered and you get paid.

If you have always wanted to travel the world, but couldn't afford to do it, look into getting a cruise ship job.

If you don't know where to start, here's a list of exactly what you need to do in order to get one.

Get a Vacation, Earn Money, and Help Out

The next time you're planning a vacation, why not look into the world of volunteer travel?

There are a few different programs available that will allow you to volunteer your time (doing things like teaching English) in a variety of countries, and get paid for it while travelling at the same time.

Check out some of the volunteer projects here to Volunteer Abroad for a Change! And see the world in a whole new way, with Volunteer projects from 4 to 24 weeks spanning six continents.

Try Renting a Vacation Home

One of the newest trends in travelling is renting a vacation home. A vacation like this offers a unique look at the area that you're staying in, without having to stay in a hotel.

Instead, you can stay in a vacation home and get a real look at the city and culture looking from the inside out.

Check out different sites to rent vacation homes online , or sites that have

Save Huge Dollars on Your Flight!

Flying to wherever you are travelling to is usually the most expensive part of the whole travelling process. That's why it's important to exhaust all of your options when it comes to getting a cheap flight.

I recently came across a fantastic website that lets you find unclaimed tickets - which can save you up to 90% OFF REGULAR RATES! (Sorry for shouting - I got kind of excited when I saw how much I could save with them).

The site does cost a small fee to register, but you'll make it back and end up saving much more on the first flight you take.

You might not have to wait for your next vacation after all. Travelling, anyone?

Check this great website here.

Book Online – according to Consumer Reports WebWatch, travelers can often save significantly by booking airline tickets on European websites, rather than US ones. Try a site like Simply Travel - for Villa and Hotel Holidays off the Beaten Track or Expedia.co.uk home

Get a London Pass – With a London Pass you can get free entry to over 50 of London's premier attractions such as The Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral and Kensington Palace. Tips to Travel Europe Cheaper

1) Go for a cruise. Because meals, lodging, and entertainment is all included - which can make things a little less pricey. Cruises not your style? Try a riverboat tour - they offer most of the features that cruises do, but in a decidedly different atmosphere.

2) Try for dollar for euro rates. Some hotels offer special deals where they take US dollars at par (so a room that normally would rent for $125 Euro, would be $125 US - a significant savings).

3) Get an air pass. Major European Airlines sell coupons for European flights to their transatlantic passengers. The prices of each flight is based on zone. Check out www.oneworld.com, or www.europebyair.com.

Trinidad in June?

Most people who go to Trinidad do so in January or February to catch carnival. But in June, visitors will be able to savour the everyday rythms and flavor of this wonderful country.

Reasons to go in June:

-it's mango season, so all mango trees are heavy laden with this fruit, making for beautiful sights and eats.
-you can hear those famous Trinidad birds (Trinidad has over 100 species).
-you will get a true feel for the unique culture, especially in the Port of Spain, with it's mix of African, Indian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese, and Syrian cultures.
-check out Maracas Beach (which won't be too crowded to enjoy at this time of year), which is the most popular stretch of beach on the north side of Trinidad.

Virgin Airline's Policy on Cancelled Flights Revealed

Virgin’s policy is to offer assistance in the form of meals, hotel and transportation in the event of a cancellation. The airline typically offers these to everyone in the event of a cancellation, unless they’d prefer to go home instead of a hotel – in which case they’re offered a van voucher.

Their policy is to keep all luggage on the plane (as it would be an incredible job to try and off-load all luggage and then reload it later), unless it belongs to a customer with special needs (medication, baby clothing etc) which can be retrieved and returned on a per need basis.
